River Valley Private School (916) 483-8575 - The One-on-One Advantage Since 1991!
For over 20 years, River Valley's qualified staff has been making a difference for a wide variety of students from college prep to those not yet reaching their potential.  Is your student like one of these?

"The charter school that opened up near us sounded great!  They promised small class sizes, a college prep curriculum and cream-of-the-crop students.  But it didn't live up to its promises. The organization and high standards just weren't there.  So we transferred Jane to River Valley where she got a very good education.  She even took trigonometry and chemistry at American River College before she graduated from high school!"
Jane H. graduated in 2009 and has completed two years toward a pharmaceutical degree.

"When the new public school in our area finally opened, we were thrilled.  It was so beautiful!  But, before long, my son started slipping through the cracks and I didn't know until it was too late! We started in River Valley's summer program just to make up some credits, but it was so effective that we decided to stay.  Even when I was layed off, I found a way to keep Richard there.  His little brother can't wait to be old enough to go there, too!"

Although my daughter had been very involved at school - even traveling to Australia with a school group, she became  discouraged and ready to give up.  Then I found River Valley's Independent Study Plus Program.  They not only gave her the encouragement to finish high school, but she also became goal oriented.  Now she is doing very well in college working toward a nursing degree!  I recommend River Valley to all of my friends!

At the end of her freshman year, my daughter had not earned any credits and was already at risk of not graduating from high schoolWe knew we had to try something new.  When we enrolled her at River Valley, they took her from the level she was at, helped her build her skills and confidence, and now she an honor student!  Our financial situation changed when Vanessa's little sister unexpectedly came along and I looked at public school independent study programs, but there is no comparison!  I would take a 2nd job to keep Vanessa at River Valley!
Vanessa C. graduated with Honors in 2011.

My son was diagnosed with ADD years ago.  He really had difficulty concentrating in a public school classroom environment.  When a friend told me how River Valley had helped her daughter go from ready-to-give-up to a goal-oriented high school graduate already enrolled in college, I had to check it out!  It really worked for Jeremy!  My shy son felt comfortable asking questions and finally got the help he needed!  Although he had severe math phobia, Jeremy earned an A in algebra!
